Loco Express playset turns the garden into an imaginative railway adventure for children aged 3–10. The wooden locomotive-style structure combines two platforms, a 2.2 m blue slide, climbing rope and net, trapeze swing, play bell and a picnic table beneath the platform.

Train design inspires imaginative role play

The locomotive theme offers much more than physical activity. Children can become train drivers, passengers or explorers, use the locomotive tunnel and bell, move between platforms and create a different journey every day.

Two platforms connected by a net bridge

The playset includes platforms measuring 110 × 80 cm and 80 × 80 cm. A net bridge connects the two levels, creating an engaging route that supports balance, coordination and agility. The platform height is 120 cm.

2.2 m slide, climbing activities and trapeze swing

The 220 cm blue slide provides an exciting descent, while the climbing rope and wall net help develop strength and controlled movement. A trapeze swing with adjustable ropes adds another active challenge.

Picnic table for quieter play beneath the platform

A picnic table beneath the platform creates a separate space for snacks, drawing, role play or a short rest. Loco Express therefore combines energetic movement with calmer creative activities in one structure.

Impregnated C24 pine and secure anchoring

The structure is made from 16 mm impregnated pine classified to EN 1912 / C24. Metal fittings, ground anchors, safety handles and protective caps support stable assembly and everyday use. The assembled playset measures 93 × 571 × 182 cm and is suitable for up to 10 children.

Why are the holes drilled during assembly?

The connecting holes are not pre-drilled in the wooden parts. During assembly, they must be drilled to the diameters and depths specified in the instructions. This allows each fixing point to match the actual position of the components precisely. Wood is a natural material and can change slightly with humidity, temperature and storage conditions, so drilling during assembly helps achieve accurate connections. Pre-drilling also reduces the risk of the timber cracking or splitting when screws are installed.
