The birch and maple sap tapping kit is designed for collecting fresh tree sap during the spring season. It includes the essential parts for guiding and collecting sap, while the 7 mm tap helps minimise damage to the tree.
Gentle birch and maple sap collection
The set includes a plastic tap, metal holder, plastic collection bag and wooden plug for closing the hole after tapping. The collection bag holds 15 L and the complete set measures 33 x 62 cm.
How to use the tree sap tapping kit
Drill a suitable hole in the tree, allow any drilling residue to flush out and insert the plastic tap. Secure the collection bag in the metal holder and attach it to the tap. Empty the collected sap regularly and close the hole with the supplied wooden plug when the tapping season is over.
