The greenhouse anchoring kit 4x8 m helps secure the frame on suitable soil and other suitable ground. The turned, pointed pine stakes are made in Latvia and pressure-treated. Plastic fastening ties connect the frame to the stakes, helping limit movement and reduce the risk of uplift in gusty conditions.

Pressure-treated pine stakes for repeated outdoor use

Pressure treatment helps protect the wood against moisture and outdoor exposure. No additional wood preservative is needed before first use. The pointed tip makes driving the stake into suitable soil easier. Holding strength depends on stake dimensions, insertion depth and soil conditions.

How to secure a greenhouse with stakes and fastening ties

1. Assemble the greenhouse on level ground following its instructions.
2. Check that there are no buried cables, pipes, drains or other services beneath the proposed stake positions.
3. Drive the stakes into the ground at a suitable distance from the supports, following the greenhouse anchoring instructions.
4. Use the ties to connect the stakes to the designated frame attachment points.
5. Tension the ties evenly without overloading the frame and check that every stake holds firmly.

Attach the ties only to the designated frame points. Do not attach them to the plastic cover or let them rub against it. Avoid excessive tension that could distort the frame or damage the cover.

The kit provides supplementary anchoring and does not replace the base, anchors or cover-edge fixing specified by the manufacturer. Follow the assembly instructions for your particular polytunnel.

Check the ground and follow the greenhouse weather limits

Loose, soft or waterlogged soil can reduce stake holding strength. Inspect the ties and anchors regularly; use additional anchoring suited to the ground where necessary. This kit does not guarantee safety in all weather or increase the operating limits set by the greenhouse manufacturer. If strong winds or thunderstorms are forecast, secure or remove the cover in good time and dismantle the structure where required by the manufacturer’s instructions.
