Greenhouse anchor for a 40x20 mm profile frame
The greenhouse anchor is designed to secure a 40x20 mm profile frame firmly to the ground. It helps keep the structure in position and reduces the risk of movement, uplift or damage caused by strong winds.
Why is greenhouse anchoring important?
A polycarbonate greenhouse has a large surface exposed to wind. If the frame is not properly secured, strong gusts may shift the structure, deform profiles or damage the polycarbonate covering. A reliable connection to the ground transfers loads more effectively and improves overall stability.
When is an anchor especially important?
- in open and windy locations;
- in light, loose or uneven soil;
- when the greenhouse has no concrete foundation;
- where ground movement or frost heave may occur;
