AirBox cover for heat pump and AC outdoor units

AirBox outdoor unit cover is a durable metal enclosure for air conditioner and heat pump outdoor units. It conceals technical equipment, improves the appearance of the façade or outdoor area and maintains the airflow required by the unit.

Suitable for standard residential heat pumps

AirBox HHPS100C-1 is designed for most standard residential air conditioner and heat pump outdoor units, including the 5 kW and 7 kW classes specified by the manufacturer. Before purchasing, compare the dimensions of your outdoor unit with the internal AirBox dimensions and observe the ventilation clearances required by the equipment manufacturer.

Horizontal louvers maintain essential airflow

Angled horizontal louvers conceal the outdoor unit while leaving openings for air intake and exhaust. The design helps hide the fan from direct view while maintaining the ventilation required by the outdoor unit.

Durable galvanised steel construction

The body panels are made from 1.0 mm galvanised steel, while the internal frame uses 30 × 30 × 0.8 mm galvanised steel tubing. The mounting brackets are made from reinforced 2.0 mm steel for additional structural rigidity and stability.

Rigid construction helps dampen vibration

The 1.0 mm galvanised steel panels and internal tubular frame increase structural rigidity. The metal mass and stable frame help dampen vibration and resonance while maintaining the airflow required by the outdoor unit.

Ground installation with adjustable feet

AirBox can be installed on a solid surface using four adjustable 304 stainless steel feet. An adjustment range of approximately 5 cm helps compensate for minor surface irregularities and slopes.

Wall mounting with adjustable depth

The cover can also be wall-mounted. Adjustable brackets allow the depth to be adapted to the outdoor unit, pipework and cables while maintaining access for inspection and maintenance.

AkzoNobel powder coating for outdoor use

The Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 finish features AkzoNobel outdoor powder coating tested for 1000 hours of UV exposure. Feet, rivets, screws and other hardware are made from 304 stainless steel and have passed more than 48 hours of salt spray testing.
