Wood must be treated with a water-based treatment solution designed for wooden items that are kept outdoors. While the wood is still moist, use a brush to apply 2 layers of the solution. This way the protective layer will be absorbed by wood, while providing protection from rain, sun, fungi and sawyers.
After the treatment solution has dried, apply two thin layers to protect the wood outdoors. We recommend using primer as a first layer and paint as the second. For the wood to breathe and be able to ensure humidity transfer we recommend choosing a paint that does not form a layer on the wood surface.
To protect wood against harmful effects of humidity the protective layer should be reinforced at regular intervals.
