The universal chopping axe weighs only 800 grams, but it will easily handle smaller rounds up to 15 cm in diameter. This safe and compact tool is ideal for both gardening and tourism. The hatchet will come in handy when you're relaxing outdoors, for example, to prepare firewood for your campfire. Designed to be used with one hand.

Choosing the right axe for the task

The compact FREUND VICTORIA hatchet is best suited for pruning jobs and simpler woodworking tasks. The axe will easily handle smaller woodworking tasks. It is also used for carpentry, peeling and carving jobs.

There is both a groove for pulling nails and a special recess in the head of the hatchet to get your hand as close as possible to the cutting edge for maximum precision.

The universal tool may be used as a hammer to drive wedges.
