The heating cable is connected at the end to an electrical cable with a plug, which needs to be connected in turn to an earthed 230V power socket. The compact but robust cable adjusts its heat issue to room temperature: it thus saves energy and does not overheat the pipeline.
The heating cable is intended for keeping indoor pipelines frost-free: in cellars and crawl spaces, with water meters, in caravans, glasshouses, barns, etc.
