Many factors are very important for successfully growing tomatoes - starting with the choice of location (where will you grow tomatoes - greenhouse, canopy or open field), soil preparation, tomato variety, providing nutrition, replanting, taking care of plants, protection from diseases and pests. If you plan to grow tomatoes in an open field, you should choose such sorts that are suitable for growth in open field, however you can grow any kind of tomato in a greenhouse (even field tomatoes will feel well in a greenhouse). Tomatoes suitable for greenhouses are tall and produce fruits for the whole duration of summer.
