Gardeners and farmers now have access to the latest generation of material that delivers higher greenhouse yields, looks good and is resistant to UV radiation and changing weather conditions.
What makes NANO polycarbonate so special?
The new material, NANO polycarbonate, was developed at the Belgrade Institute of Crop Science and offers a 30-48% increase in yield compared to conventional polycarbonate. The pink shade of the greenhouse cover, which indicates the presence of NANO particles, will fit perfectly in a small garden or next to an elegant detached house. However, appearance is not the most important feature for gardeners. To understand what makes this material special, let's simply list its characteristics.
The NANO particles embedded in the polycarbonate sheets provide red light waves (λ=660 nm) that are particularly friendly to plants, corresponding to the highest point of photosynthesis, and thus help the fruit to mature much faster. The result is a yield at least a third higher than in a conventional greenhouse.
The material is covered by a 10-year UV warranty,
but will last longer. NANO polycarbonate will not fade in the sunlight, it will not be damaged by wind gusts and even mechanical shocks.
NANO-cell polycarbonate mobilises the internal biological potential of plants and animals. NANO polycarbonate is used as a greenhouse insulation material in summerhouses, in industrial plant production and in animal housing instead of glass.
NANO polycarbonate is suitable for greenhouses of all sizes and shapes
with and without heating, is UV-resistant, does not let UV rays through, converts unfavourable UV rays into favourable red light for plants, promotes crop maturation up to 3-4 weeks earlier and increases annual crop yield up to 1.5 times.
Advanced NANO polycarbonate is treated with an anti-condensation layer
that repels water and prevents the formation of large condensation pools on the polycarbonate sheets inside the greenhouse. Without this anti-condensation layer, condensation droplets on the plants are harmful, causing the spread of fungi and other diseases.
